Stellar Blade 25 Hours to Beat, 50 for Completionists, No MTX Except for Crossover Content

The anticipation for the upcoming PS5-exclusive game Stellar Blade has been steadily increasing ever since the release of its highly praised and technically impressive demo. However, there may still be lingering questions about this visually stunning action game. Fortunately, general director Kim Hyeong-tae and technical director Lee Dong-gi have been conducting interviews with various Asian gaming publications, possibly providing answers to these inquiries.

On the topic of the game’s duration, it appears that the main storyline will take approximately 25 hours to complete. However, players who choose to complete side quests and gather collectibles could potentially spend anywhere from 30 to 50 hours in the game. Additionally, a hard mode will become available upon completing the game, but there will not be a New Game+ option at launch. The developers have hinted that New Game+ may be added at a later time.

Regarding monetization, there will be no extra in-game purchases for that game, except for the possibility of featuring crossover content from other series. It is currently undecided whether there will be significant DLC, but players can still expect the standard free updates and new costumes typically seen in Sony-published games.

We want to clarify that purchasing the ‘Stella Blade’ package is the only expense required for the game, and there are no hidden charges. The only potential additional cost would be if we collaborate with another company to create a special costume, which may be sold separately.

The mention of potential collaborations with other intellectual properties is intriguing, especially considering the interest shown by several prominent Japanese creators in Stellar Blade. It appears that NieR creator Yoko Taro is among those following the game, and even Hideo Kojima himself recently met with the game’s director. It seems highly likely that we may see a 2B skin in

Stellar Blade’s release date on PS5 is April 26.
